Purpose of this site is to connect Authors (Providers) and Users (Consumers) and create Ecosystem of shared, visualized, Intellectual Property reusable across the retail and business worlds.
According to a simple definition, diagram refers to a two dimensional figure which assists an individual in the visual representation of a situation or process. The diagrams can be three dimensional as well, depending upon the complexity of the task. The visual representation achieved through a diagram is symbolic in nature.
This is our first Diagram Comics from series "Diagram Types". We will release more Diagram Comics during incoming months as well as our Diagram Stories. Diagram Stories will be focused on diagram representation of world around us and Diagram related activities such as methodology, design, reference etc.
We frequently use diagrams in our daily routine without even realizing that we are actually summarizing a visual process through them. They are used at schools, offices and even at home while we read simple maps or tables and try to decipher the information that is being displayed. Therefore, it is essential to have a basic understanding of the techniques to read and decipher a diagram since they are used so frequently. Diagrams simplify tasks and convey the information in a brief and compact manner
Most of us make use of diagrams in our daily lives –whether it’s for a business presentation or a school assignment. However, we aren’t the only ones making use of this tool of visualizing and understanding data because diagrams have been around for ages!
In our daily lives we make use of a lot of diagrams. Whether it’s a free-hand map that you sketch to explain a friend the way to your house, a flow chart used to show a company’s business plan or a concept map that you use to demonstrate the brain-storming ideas for a writing class –diagrams are all around us, and they are pretty useful.
